Dr. Paul Kolodziej

Dr. Paul Kolodziej has a diverse cultural and educational background. Originally born in Poland and arrived in the United States at the age of 4. “Dr. Paul” has lived mostly in Hollywood, Florida and some time up north. He graduated college at the University of Miami in Coral Gables to complete a degree in Pre-Med and Computer Science. Paul worked in computers for some time, but was not fulfilled and decided to pursue his dream, which was to work in the medical field, interact with people and work with his hands. Paul made his way to Nova Southeastern University where worked as an administrative assistant at the dental school and was able to learn about dentistry each day. He went on a dental/medical mission trip to Jamaica in 2006 with his school and ultimately four more mission trips to give back and serve in disadvantaged areas. Paul found these trips to be an amazing opportunity to be a part of something greater and life changing as well.

Paul now realized that he could be in a profession that would allow him to do all the things he wanted to do, so he followed his heart and applied to dental school at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Paul graduated Dental School in 2011 and has worked in different dental environments from small office to large corporate practices and has learned much along the way as he continues his lifelong education through CE courses.

Dr. Paul speaks Polish, English and Spanish. His hobbies and interests include computer repair, weight lifting, nutrition, travel, international food, and photography. Paul is no stranger to work since he has been employed since the age of 15.

Dr. Paul is married to his best friend, soulmate, and wife Jessica, who also happens to be in the dental field. Dr. Paul enjoys learning and self development and spends his weekends relaxing, traveling, or spending time with his wife, dog, family and friends. Dr. Paul enjoys general dentistry because it allows him to make a difference in his patient’s life by improving their health, function, appearance, and confidence. He educates patients about how their oral health is very important to their overall health. In addition, dentistry allows for a wide range of interests and procedures to work on in any given day and he is continually taking CE courses in dental techniques so that he can better serve his family of patients.
