Meet Dr. Catherine de la Torre

Dr. Catherine de la Torre was born in New Orleans and grew up all along the Eastern coast. After graduating high school from the Academy of the Holy Names in Tampa, she earned her Bachelor’s in Science at the University of Florida. She continued to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the Gators.

Her vigorous, top ranked residency and commitment to containing education helped her achieve Fellowship of Academy of General Dentistry. A high honor recognizing only about seven percent of general dentists. She also studied at the Dawson Center for Advancement of Dentistry and became a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She has completed advanced training in endodontics, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, and Botox.

Dr. de la Torre is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, and the prestigious Spear Institute. In her effort to give back to the community, she is a member of Give Kids a Smile and the Junior League of Tampa.

Dr. de la Torre enjoys running, yoga, reading, and traveling. However, her absolute favorite thing to do is have fun with her husband and daughter!
