Dr. Honig was born and raised in New York State, approximately 50 miles north of New York City. He attended the University of Delaware, where he received a B.A. in Biological Sciences. Dr. Honig went on to complete his dental schooling at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. Dr. Honig has been practicing dentistry for over a decade in the greater Tampa area and loves the Florida lifestyle. Dr. Honig has extensive training in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and is Invisalign certified. Dr. Honig has completed extensive continuing education in respect to today's innovative dental technology and overall systemic effects of oral health. Dr. Honig is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He truly prides himself on bringing smiles to his patients on a daily basis.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Honig enjoys spending time with his family, traveling abroad, exploring different cuisines/restaurants and is a huge sports fanatic. Dr. Honig is happily married with a sweet and loving son. Some of Dr. Honig’s travels abroad include Spain, Netherlands, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Iceland, and various Caribbean Islands. He is an avid golfer, and is versed in all sports, but in particular, football, baseball and basketball. Dr. Honig is also a dog lover and has two energetic dogs, Hazel and Odin, who provide unconditional love to the family.
